Long-established Innovative Okonomiyaki restaurant with history

Okonomiyaki is a dish that you mix wheat flour (okonomiyaki powder) with cabbage, meat and seafood, cooked on an iron plate, add sauce, dried bonito shavings, seaweed, and then cut into small pieces and serve. Originally it was a specialty of Osaka or Hiroshima, but i Okonomiyaki restaurants have gradually been increasing in number in Tokyo. "Okonomiyaki Cabbage" was opened in Akabane as a pioneer thirty years ago. At that time, there were few Okonomiyaki restaurant in Tokyo, especially in Akabane. Traditionallly, Kansai style is to sit on tatami and eat the Okonomiyaki the chef has prepared, but Okonamiyaki Cabbage started a new style, with customers seated on chairs and cooking their own Okonomiyaki. At that time, the style of eating while sitting on a chair was unusual. Now it is natural and normal, so the owner was very forward looking. When entering this store, the chairs are lined up, the desk is made of one block, and the old-fashioned telephone contribute to the nostalgic atmosphere.
