A old but new building

This 45 year old renovated building, which used to be beauty salon operated by an elderly, opened as a micro boutique hotel in 2015. It is an eye-catching glass-walled modern building with a spiral staircase and a chandelier in the popular cityscape in Akabane. Even though it is unusual, it does unexpectedly blend in with the townscape. On the first floor there is a cafe bar, THE 315. Both the hotel and the cafe bar have a Japanese tea theme.

Rooms inspired by the Japanese house style

Inspired by the Japanese tea house style, these unique rooms are comfortable individual space. They have 1 single-sized bed mat, a small desk. The third floor is women only and the fourth is mixed. Shared showers are installed on each floor and are clean and pleasant.

For those who care about privacy, lockable double rooms are also available

For those who care about privacy, there are lockable rooms that can accommodate up to two people. The desks and the lights in these rooms used to be used at the beauty salon, and one can still feel the atmosphere of those days. You can enjoy a view of the streets in Akabane from the large windows. It is the perfect room to enjoy a relaxing, private time.

The top floor feels like being invited to an artist's home

On the top floor of the building there is a penthouse, which can accommodate up to three people. It has a shower room with bath tub. There is a large terrace, about 30 m², from which you can see the city of Akabane. The views from this terrace of the sunset and the streets of downtown Tokyo are just wonderful. Antique furniture has been arranged in the room, with pipes exposed and concrete walls, so it feels as if you have been invited to an artist's home.

Unique cafe with the concept of Chindonya (showy advertiser)

At the first floor cafe bar THE 315, the lighting and the wallpaper from before the renovation are used. It is a unique space where retro and modern blend together. The concept of this bar is Chindonya. As it is open to anybody as well as to guests, the guests and local residents can interact with each other here. In addition to the usual selection of alcohols, you can enjoy Japanese tea drinks such as Sencha, Bancha, Hojicha, Japanese Tea cocktails and Matcha Latte. Popular regional Japanese sweets and sake produced at local sake breweries of are also available, to help you enjoy the Kita-ku area.
