This restaurant has been visited by Hu Jintao, former President of the People's Republic of China, among other prominent figures from Japan and abroad. Shinkyotei Shinkan has been highly evaluated as a restaurant that serves authentic Chinese cuisine, including the head chef being awarded the Order of the Rising Sun with Gold and Silver Rays. It is a long-running restaurant that lavishly uses luxurious ingredients and features a menu with over 100 items, which can be enjoyed at reasonable prices. Offerings include everything from courses that satisfy in their wide selection, quality, and quantity to the restaurant's special Peking duck and casual a la carte dishes such as traditional steamed dumplings and yum cha. An especially popular menu item is the first-rate, meaty shark's fin, boiled to preserve its original shape! At the end of February each year, the restaurant holds a "Manchu Han Imperial Feast," a splendid type of banquet cooking derived from high-class imperial court cuisine from the former Qing dynasty. This includes numerous types of delicious foods and delicacies from around the entirety of China. At this feast, you can even enjoy rare dishes such as bear paws. The restaurant, which seats around 500 guests, can accommodate arrangements from dinners for small groups to parties with large numbers of people.

This location opened as the official shop of the plastic model maker Tamiya in 2008. It has three floors, extending from the basement to the second floor. In addition to selling products such as Mini 4WDs, radio-controlled cars, and plastic models, it has permanently installed a five-lane course for Mini 4WDs, intended for official races, on the second floor. Mini 4WDs boast firmly rooted popularity as products that everyone from adults to children can enjoy. Customers from a wide range of generations, from businessmen returning from work to people with their families, visit the shop. In addition to product sales, it also holds various events such as racing tournaments and contests. Recently, the decoration of sweets has emerged as a new category, with the shop holding workshops and more. Plastic models of tanks are drawing attention due to the influence of anime and other entertainment media, and we hear that the shop is visited not only by men, but also by many women who become hooked on plastic models as a way of utilizing their keen sensitivity.
